Okay - I was going to give this two stars, but I'm giving it three because it shipped SUPER fast, which was great. Also, I really like the bottles and tips for application - I really never was a fan of the cones.
HOWEVER - I think this henna was old or something, because it did not create dark stains at all - and I followed the instructions to the letter.
Will never buy premixed again - going to just get the pure henna powder from now on and deal with the mess!
I can't find one reason not to give this product and this seller 5 stars. I paid for one day shipping as I was in a rush but expected that there would be a day or two turn around processing the order which meant it would not arrive until Monday (I ordered on a Thursday) and the estimated delivery was Friday through Monday - I needed it by Monday and live on the west coast. I was more then very happy when it arrived on Friday and was shipped the same day as the order was made. I could not ask for better service. The henna cones were well packaged, in a mailing box, so that the cones did not get damaged or squished (a problem I have had buying elsewhere when product is shippied). The henna is an excellent quality and a test application let me know it was very fresh. Definitely better then I can get even locally.
The bottles had caps that close the bottle so air does not get in and can be swapped with caps with an opening that the needles can be attached to for use. I like that the bottle can be filled and 'sealed' closed with a top without an opening it in while stored which prevents air from getting to the unused henna and all you have to do to attach a needle is to swap out the cap to one with the opening that the needle can be attached too. This is nice if you don't use all the henna in the bottle but want to store it a short time - you know the solid cap will keep the air out.
The assortment of blunt needles covers just about any size you would wish for, including a very small gauge I will find perfect for intricate and very small lines and shading. I believe the smallest gauge would be the minimum that the henna would even flow through but I have never found one that small elsewhere - reading the review that mentioned that small gauge was one of the things that interested me in this product.
I would definitely recommend the seller, Beachcombers Bazaar, and this product. There is no way to go wrong here.
